Our last post gave you many different dramas to watch for the coming summer. Yet, even the best binge watchers can’t do it 24/7! So as I got the idea to do a summer music post I knew just which KCE member to ask for help!
Here’s a list of songs that have come out this summer that you guys may have missed, as well as some that give you that summer vibe. (Side Note: This list tried to stay away from the new summer releases we were pretty sure you had already listened to such as Taeyang, GOT7, and AOA, but they’re still great. So check them out!)
1) Mamamoo- Mr. Ambiguous
Starting off with the newly debuted girls, Mamamoo. Despite the name, I love this group. If you’ve already heard of them it’s because they’ve featured in many songs with other artists such as Bumkey and K.Will. Continue reading Summer K-pop Songs→
So after you make that bowl of Ramyun or Jjajangmyeon, that we helped you learn how to make in our last post, it’s time to sit down, relax, and watch ALL the Korean Dramas! Now the most important question is “which one”? Which ones are worth your time and which ones should we skip entirely? These are very important questions! So I asked KCE’s very own resident Drama Queen to help us with the very important task of choosing which K-Dramas we should watch this summer, and she did not disappoint!
Hey guys, we are having our first summer officer meeting this Saturday! It’s time to start planning for the semester ahead, and we are all really excited. So my question for you is, do you have any ideas, or suggestions about what KCE should do next semester? As representatives of all the KCE members we would love to hear your feedback! Please comment or send us a message!
How’s everyone’s summer so far? It feels like just yesterday we were all at the KCE potluck eating to our heart’s content! Which brings me to my second question. How many of you are missing Korean food right now? Whether it’s been a week, or since you left the dorms for the summer, it is time to satisfy our bulgogi and ramyun filled dreams! In Texas it’s nearly impossible to find Korean food if you aren’t near one of the major cities. So what can we do about it if we can’t just walk to Czen like normal? Well we can make it ourselves of course!
Over the last few years, if I didn’t have someone to help me, I’ve turned to Maangchi to teach me how to cook my favorite Korean foods. There are lots of different recipes and video tutorials to help with cooking. My favorite parts are that on the website there is a “Korean Grocery Shopping Directory” and a comprehensive list explaining all the ingredients usually found in our favorite dishes!
